We are back to basics for our last campsite in this series of five articles. And once again it is the National Trust that serves up a treat. For all of you that like fell walking and climbing the last campsite we are going to feature is Great Langdale Campsite in the Langdale valley.
If you fancy bagging the eponymous Langdale pikes or the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike, this is the perfect camping spot. You don’t have to book to be assured of a place but during the summer months booking is advisable.
This site completes our list, so if you are in the mood for a little outdoor activity this summer, you could do a lot worse than following our recommendations.
It‘s quite in here! Why not leave a response?
