Spot GPS System is a instant messenger for extreme climbing and camping. You press a button when your in peril and an e-mail an text will be sent over to a number and e-mail address set up before hand.  It will send a GPS location along with a Google map of your location.

It can also be set up to send that signal every 10 miniutes to keep some one updates or you can send it to a e-mail address, a cron job can scan through the emails in the pop accountm take the message from the e-mail strip it into a string / interger, save it in a database then mash the data up on a google map to make a progress map…..
