The Silsden (yorkshire dales) based company have grabbed a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. The company produces sleeping bags but also create a huge range of synthetically-insulated clothing for general sales and the military. Their products sell at home and abroad.

Snugpak are one of the last companies based in Europe who produce sleeping bags, a fact they are very proud of. They export to 28 different countries supplying equipment to the military in the USA, Latvia and Australia. That business makes up 70% of sales.

Sales Director Darren Burrell said: “We are thrilled to receive this award as recognition of our hard work and success at developing high quality, durable products that can withstand rigorous use in harsh and sometimes extreme conditions throughout the world.”
