If there is no option and you have to pitch you tent on a hill here are a few essentail tips.
Pitch along the slope so you sleep with your head up the slope.
Don’t pitch so water or sewage can run down a hill and into your tent.
Make sure you peg down on all sections of tents to avoid any wind getting under the tent lifting it up.
