The Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) has announced a partnership with MultiView Inc a publisher of Online Supplier Directories to create the Outdoor Industry Directory.

The directory aims to provide OIA memeber and other members of the indusrty with a index of ndustry-specific products and services all searchable. The search like engine will be located on the www.outdoorindustry.org website.

Frank Hugelmeyer, president of OIA informed the press “As the industry’s first comprehensive listing of active outdoor lifestyle products and services, the Outdoor Industry Directory will provider retailers, visitors and eventually consumers with a single extensive resource to search for products, brands and services,”

These product means that no longer OIA memebers will have to trawl through sometimes irrelevant search enigine results and be able to pull back accurate results quicker. There will also be an downloadable version for users to search straigh off their desktops, thus quicking up searching team.

The Outdoor Industry Directory had been relased in Phase One of development and can be seen live at www.outdoorindustry.org.
