At last years Glastonbury festival promoter Michael Eavis pointed out the environmental effects of the average festival rubbish, human waste, tent pegs and tents. Year by year they are trying to reduce the ‘footprint’ of the festival, next year is going to be biodegradable tent pegs. Last year festival goers were asked rather than throwing away tents to leave them to be collected at which point they would be reused for people in third world countries.
Designer James Dunlop hopes that tents won’t be left behind by creating myhab, which are temporary living boxes / tents. The myhab will have room for two, padded sleeping area, lights and a secure box.

Due to be released this year, festival goers will pre-book online, when they arrive their very own personalized myhab will be built for them, thus saving time and meaning the festival goer will be able to carry more beer!
A new www.myhab.com website is set to be released maybe in time for Glastonbury this year? We’ll have to find out
