Another great place to go camping is the Isle of Man. You can get to the Isle of Man from England using the ferry from Birkenhead, Liverpool and Heysham. The journey only takes around 2 and half hours and ferrys are frequent.
On the island there are around 11 campsites including Ballacottier Road, Glen Wyllin, Cronk Dhoo Campsite and Glen Dhoo Camping Site. The sites are not huge so it’s best to call before hand to book. It’s also best to check that you’re not going at the same time as the TT moterbike race as the campsites will be full for race week.
On the Island there is lots to do including Whale Shark watching, looking at the isles many windmills and the 95 mile walk around the perimeter of the the Isle.
