Stuck for an idea this Halloween? Don’t fancy letting you kids roam the streets then set up a tent in your back garden.

It’s pitch black by half five now in the UK so you don’t have to stay out late to wait till it gets dark. Set the tent up in the back yard and then to add mood lighting get a small touch or pumpkin with a light in it. Make sure to use an electric light in the pumpkin as naked flames and tents don’t mix.

Then start telling a story to the kids…..something about how 50 years ago in that very garden a family camped out for the night ….. and the boogy man attacked the tent eating all the kids etc. Then when you get to the climax of the story have a family member start to shake the tent from outside. The Kids will be really scared.

For maximum effect you might want them to through some animal guts and blood on the tent!
