Over the bank holiday weekend Halfords have been pushing their £99 tent offer. The brilliant offer includes a four berth tent, consisting of two sleeping areas and a middle kitchen area. Four sleeping bags, the square style with carry bags. Two inflatable double mattresses, two camping lights and a carry case which can be rolled.

It’s a nice little offer but it seems that it’s too good to be true, the bag look low quality and there are reports that the tent doesn’t withstand a strong win. One comment on the product page described the problems they had.

So if you are thinking about buying the £99 tent from Halfords be careful, remember you get what you pay for and trust the brand name for quality.
