Green tent pegs are another environmently friendly product to help reduce the effects of camping. Made from wood, cardboard or plywood the pegs can be left in ground and then be left to bio-degrade. Plans are afoot to make every camper at Glastonbury 2008 use such pegs to help the farm get back to normal quicker than having to dig the fields every year to find metal tent pegs left behind.
