Motor fanatics can now add a little something extra to their experience of Goodwood racing festivals, with the news that a designated camping area will be implemented at the venue.

Their construction is said to give easy access to either the “Festival of Speed” which runs between 11th-13th July and the “Goodwood Revival” between 19th-21st September.

Yet anyone interested in hiring a spot needs to move fast, as these seem to be in high demand at the minute with enthusiasts who do not want to miss a moment of the action snapping them up at an alarming rate.

The area will accommodate just over three hundred and fifty plots which can be used for either tents or caravans and will include luxury washing facilities and twenty four hour security. There will also be extensive disabled facilities which includes a free shuttle service transporting people to and from the attractions.

Taking centre stage this year is the “Goodwood Revival” which is commemorating it’s tenth anniversary and is thought to have attracted over one hundred and fifteen thousand fans.

The move to develop camping facilities will not only prove to be cost effective for those who would otherwise have stayed in local hotels, but will provide visitors with an unparalleled social experience in the company of like minded people.
