Gas Canisters will be banned at this years leeds festival meaning no cooking for camper bar using BBQ’s. The move have been put forward for the safety of staff and festival goers. Leeds festival does have a history of bad behavior and it’s common to see used canisters being thrown into fires.

The move does mean it’s going to a lot more expensive which festival goers having to buy food from the really expensive food stalls. A decent meal will set you back around £4-5.

It’s unfortunate that this rule is going to effect those who can be responsible with gas canisters and enjoy the camping experience at Leeds music festival.
