This is a lovely peaceful campsite just a stones throw away from the beach and the world famous river Mersey. There are 20 pitches so it’s a warm relaxed atmosphere and you don’t feel overcrowded. There are even some under trees pitches if you want to stay out the shade.
If you prefer a solid ground pitch, they all have hook up. However there is only one water tap to share so you might find yourself in a bit of a queue during a busy bank holiday period.
The site has good train links 10-15 minutes walk away.

There are countless things to do and we decided to take the ferry across the Mersey.
