It’s christmas eve today and people around the UK like to spend their Christmas Day in different places. Some will go back to their parents, others will go to the pub, hotel, some will jump on a plane and head overseas for some winter sun.

Some will even go camping. There are not many campsites that stay open on Chirstmas day but if you search there are a few. For example Bowdens Crest Caravan & Camping Park in Somerset is open on Christmas Day and they serve up a christmas meal at lunch too. 

If you do fancy camping at Christmas make sure you do book in advance and many sites have reduced capacity and might be booked up by large family groups.
