I just found what I thought would be an interesting article in the New York Times. It’s entitled: ‘Snowshoes and S’Mores; Camping in the Cold’ and purports to be about a young family camping in Michigan in January.

Michigan is cold at this time of year - the clue is in the ‘snowshoes’ part of that headline. I was quite intrigued to know how a young family would go about camping in snowy weather and I was even more keen to know how they would go about enjoying it.

Turns out they ‘camped’ in a log cabin. That’s not camping. Bloody Americans. I’ve wasted minutes of my life reading that article.

And now I’ve wasted minutes of your life reading about my experience.
