We’ve conducted a poll in the past to see which areas of Europe people like to go camping. The popular France, Wales and England all did well but one of the location might come top of the polls in years time is Holland. To start it’s relativity easy to get over to Holland, flights go from most UK airports over to Holland and you can book a return flight for well under £100 if you book early.

Alternatively you can go via sea, ferries go regally from Hull, Newcastle in the north and Dover from the south. Taking the ferry can be an attractive option as it will be easier to lug the tent and you would have to pay extra for the luggage on the plane. Even better take the channel tunnel, drive up via France and you can have the equipment in the car.

Once over in Holland you need to find a Campsite. You can either chance and try and find one when you get their but a better option is to use a website to find campsites in Holland. Booking in advance is generally a must for Friday’s and Saturdays or long week bookings.

One of the best plans is to have a boat holiday in Holland and camp at night at stops. Or a cycling holiday, its flat after all, cycle from campsite to campsite.
