1. Keep a large amount of water on hand. Always think about your nearest point to get water.
  2. Wear loose fitting, light colored clothing that covers as much skin as possible. T-shirt, hats and shorts!
  3. Stay wet. That is near a pool, shower and bath
  4. Avoid physical activity, for example a game of footbal, running etc
  5. Seek out shade. Camp near it or in it.
  6. Eat light, regular meals, nothing too weighty on the stomach.
  7. Know the signs of heat exhaustion. Heavy sweating, flushed skin, a quickened but weak pulse, high body temperature, nausea, vomiting, dizziness and headaches,
